The UJ471M450O450A is a CapXon UJ series snap-in aluminum electrolytic capacitor rated at 450 V with 470 uF, in a case of about 30 mm diameter by 45 mm long. The UJ series is a 105 °C long-life snap-in range rated up to 5000 hours, which suits high-voltage power supplies, solar and storage inverters and industrial converters that must run reliably for years in a warm enclosure. A snap-in capacitor mounts directly on the printed circuit board with two terminals, so assembly is simple and no clamp is needed. The 450 V rating provides margin for a rectified high-voltage bus, and the 470 uF capacitance is the bulk energy that smooths the bus and supports the load transient. Because the voltage is high, the capacitance per can is moderate, so a bank of several capacitors is common to reach the required energy, and the standardized terminal spacing keeps the bank layout uniform. The operating temperature range is -40 °C to +105 °C.
